Chrám v Panenském Týnci

The unfinished Gothic church in Panenský Týnec is one of the most magical historic buildings in Bohemia – its soaring stone vaults open to the sky create a backdrop for wedding ceremonies that no other space can replicate. The municipality organises ceremonies directly within the ruins from April to October, and year-round in the medieval function hall of the monastery complex situated immediately adjacent to the church. Access to and use of the estate is charged at 3,000 CZK per hour, with the ceremony coordinated by the municipal registrar. Newlyweds arrange their wedding reception or buffet themselves in surrounding restaurants.
