Fort George

A British naval fortress built in 1813 on the island of Vis, with 360-degree views over the Adriatic and the surrounding islets - one of the most original wedding venues on the Adriatic. The hire covers the whole site from 5pm to 2am for €6,000, with space for the ceremony and reception in the historic exterior and on the fort's rooftop. Outside catering and suppliers are permitted, with capacity for up to 180 guests.
