Grad Snežník (Hrad Snežník)

This fairy-tale castle, mirrored in a still lake on the edge of the Snežnik forests, is one of the few Slovenian castles to retain its original furnishings from the second half of the 19th century. Managed by the National Museum of Slovenia, it's a popular venue for civil weddings, set in an authentic historic atmosphere with a landscaped park and tree-lined avenues. Its romantic location amid the nature of south-eastern Slovenia is ideal for smaller, intimate ceremonies away from the tourist crowds.
