Klášter Kladruby

The Benedictine Monastery of Kladruby ranks among the most significant Baroque-Gothic buildings in Bohemia; its origins date back to the 12th century and it was given its current form by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel. Both civil and religious wedding ceremonies can be held directly within the monastery grounds, attended by staff of the National Heritage Institute. The church interior, featuring works by sculptors Legát and the Asam brothers, creates an unforgettable backdrop for guests. The rental fee for spaces used in a civil ceremony is 5,000 CZK; for a religious one it is 10,000 CZK including VAT.
