Seehotel Das Traunsee

This family-run hotel sits on the monastery peninsula in Traunkirchen, right by the water of Lake Traunsee. All thirty-eight rooms have a balcony looking out over the lake and the surrounding mountains towards Gmunden. The ceremony can be held in the adjoining lakeside park, with the reception seating up to a hundred and thirty guests; the wedding menu is prepared by the award-winning kitchen of the Bootshaus restaurant right on the water. The peninsula setting gives the celebration privacy and an alpine backdrop.
